Job summary

Magnolia Post Acute in El Cajon, CA is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to join our in-house therapy team. You will screen and evaluate patients, develop care plans, and provide rehabilitative interventions for geriatric populations.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with physical functioning disorders; develop appropriate care plans.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatments in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Role involves standing and walking; occasional lifting, transferring, and repositioning of patients and equipment.
• Administer procedures as part of rehabilitation plans including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and wound care.
• Provide consultation to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries ensuring regulatory and clinical compliance.
