Job summary

GIS Field Services, Inc. is seeking reliable Mortgage Field Inspectors to perform property inspections on behalf of mortgage companies. This is a 1099 independent contractor position with a flexible schedule, offering part-time or full-time options and weekly pay.

Inspections may include exterior occupancy checks and occasional interior inspections within Illinois. Your role includes inspecting properties, determining occupancy status, photographing and documenting condition, delivering notices,

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable vehicle insured to travel within territory.
• Smartphone (iPhone or Android).
• Computer with internet access.
• Printer and basic office supplies.
• Ability to obtain Shield ID (if onboarding with GIS).
• HUD/Inspector Keys provided if onboarded with GIS.

Responsibilities

• Conduct property inspections for existing mortgage loans.
• Determine occupancy status (occupied or vacant).
• Photograph and document property condition.
• Deliver door notices and verify utility status.
• Complete reports using a mobile app (InspectorADE).
• Communicate regularly with the Inspection Relations Coordinator.
