Job summary

HealthFirst Family Care Center, Inc. is seeking a Medical Assistant to join a fast-paced clinical team in Fall River, MA. The role supports patient assessment, vitals, and clinical workflow, coordinating with providers and lab services.

Responsibilities include obtaining visit information, performing routine measurements, and retrieving medical records. The clinic offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional growth in a federally qualified community health center.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of Medical Assistant program and externship required.
• Medical Assistant certification within 90 days of hire (CMA, RMA, or CCMA).
• Experience with EMR preferred.
• Bilingual skills (English, Spanish/Portuguese) preferred.
• Submit CORI release form and provide proof of no disqualifying information.
• Maintain CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessment, treatment and general patient care during visits.
• Obtain pertinent information and reason for visit; perform vitals (pulse, temperature, BP, height, weight, BMI).
• Retrieve labs, hospital records, and tests for the provider.
