Job summary

HOUCHENS FOOD GROUP, INC. is seeking a Meat Cutter to join the Meat Department. The role covers preparing, storing, cutting, cleaning and serving meat with flexible full- or part-time schedules.

You will assist with inventory, record hours, and ensure proper temperature control across coolers and displays. The position requires a High School diploma or GED and no prior experience is necessary. Training is provided, and you will work under the Meat Manager to ensure quality service and food

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• No prior experience necessary; on-the-job training provided.
• Must be able to perform basic record-keeping and inventory tasks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, store, cut, clean, and serve meat in the department.
• Monitor guidelines, rotate stock, and maintain temps in coolers/cases.
• Provide friendly, prompt service and communicate with the meat manager.
• Record hours worked and assist with weekly and monthly meat purchases and inventory.
