Job summary

Scoot Education is a staffing partner that connects you with school assignments and provides 1:1 consultant support, ongoing career planning, and professional development opportunities.

Daily pay range is $130-$180, with W-2 employment, direct deposit pay, and training opportunities. You will support students, maintain a safe classroom, and collaborate with school staff while gaining teaching experience and guidance from consultants in the field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, associate's degree or college credits.
• Three professional references, including at least one from a previous supervisor.
• State & federal background checks.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support students in the classroom, playground, or cafeteria.
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment.
• Manage classroom routines, behavior, and transitions, following any lesson plans left by the teacher.
• Communicate clearly with school staff.
• Leave brief notes or feedback for the returning teacher.
• Sitting, standing, and walking, and able to lift up to 30 lbs while safely assisting students.
• Observe and communicate across varied environments, incl. indoor and outdoor settings.
• Additional role requirements will be in the handbook and shared during the interview process.
