Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 18 years old.
• TB test (as required by district).
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed.
• Up-to-date clearances, or willingness to obtain them prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Support students with academic tasks, behavior management, and social skills in classroom settings.
• Provide individualized or small-group assistance under the direction of educators.
• Assist students during daily transitions, routines, and classroom participation.
• Follow behavior support plans and IEPs as directed.
• Safeguard student well-being by supporting mobility, supervision, and personal care when required.
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
