Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market in California is seeking an In-Store Shopping Clerk to help fulfill online orders and provide excellent customer service with fresh, high-quality products. You will use the Instacart Shopper App on a mobile device to shop in-store and manage substitutions.

The role includes processing transactions at the POS, stocking shelves, and helping maintain store presentation. A friendly, proactive team member with good communication and physical stamina is needed for a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Outgoing and friendly behavior with a positive attitude and the ability to interact positively with customers.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to take direction and work in a team.
• Able to stand, walk, bend throughout the entire workday.
• Able to maneuver a cart holding 20 lbs. up to 2 hours, 20 feet.
• Able to walk up to 3 miles in an 8-hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Shop and fulfill customer online orders using the Instacart Shopper App on a mobile device.
• Provide excellent customer service focusing on product quality and freshness, and substitutions as needed.
• Communicate order changes effectively to customers.
• Process transactions using the in-store POS system.
• Answer questions about order delivery, the Instacart platform, and related benefits.
• Stock shelves and help maintain store cleanliness and presentation.
