Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market in California is seeking an In-Store Shopping Clerk to help customers, fulfill online orders using the Instacart Shopper App, and promote fresh, high-quality products in a friendly, fast-paced setting.

The role involves in-store transactions, communicating order changes, stocking shelves, and maintaining clean presentations while serving as a helpful online ambassador for the store.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Have outgoing and friendly behavior with a positive attitude and the ability to interact positively with customers.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team; ability to take direction and operate front end equipment (register, calculator, scanner).
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and bend throughout the workday; walk up to 3 miles in an 8-hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Shop and fulfill customer online orders in-store using a mobile device with the Instacart Shopper App.
• Provide excellent customer service with focus on product quality and freshness; substitute out-of-stock items as needed.
• Communicate any necessary changes to an order.
• Process order transactions using the in-store POS system.
• Answer questions about order delivery, the Instacart platform, and service benefits.
• Stock shelves and help maintain store cleanliness and presentation as needed.
