Job summary

Sharecare, Inc. is seeking caring, reliable in-home caregivers to provide non-clinical support to health plan members and private clients in Richmond, VA. This 1099 contractor role offers part-time or per-diem shifts through CareLinx, with scheduling managed via the CareLinx app.

You will perform ADL assistance, meal prep, light housekeeping, and document your tasks in real-time while maintaining client privacy. A smartphone and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months caregiving experience or relevant certification/education.
• Access to a smartphone capable of running the CareLinx app for scheduling and documentation.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Reliable transportation to and from client homes.
• Must pass a background check.
• Program-specific training may be required prior to shifts.
• Medical clearance such as TB test or physical.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record check if driving shifts are accepted.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs): companionship, meal prep, mobility, bathing/grooming, medication reminders (non-clinical), light housekeeping.
• Document all care tasks in the CareLinx mobile app during each shift.
• Monitor and report changes to the client’s condition to the CareLinx clinical team.
• Submit timesheets on time through the CareLinx app.
• Communicate with CarePartner about case updates or client changes.
• Ensure patient privacy, dignity, and well-being in a safe environment.
• Maintain client confidentiality at all times.
• Additional shift opportunities may include transportation, discharge escort, and telehealth navigation.
