CareLinx by Sharecare is seeking experienced caregivers to provide non-clinical, in-home care to health plan members and private clients in Harrisonburg, VA.

As a part-time 1099 contractor, you control your schedule through the CareLinx app, choosing steady recurring shifts or per‑diem work; the CarePartner team helps match you with suitable clients while you maintain privacy and dignity. This role emphasizes compassionate support, safety, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months caregiving experience or relevant education/certification (CNA, HHA, MA, or equivalent).
• Access to a smartphone capable of running the CareLinx app (required for scheduling, documentation, and timesheets).
• Ability to communicate in English (bilingual caregivers strongly encouraged to apply).
• Reliable transportation to and from client homes.
• Must pass a background check.
• Program-specific training prior to accepting shifts may apply.
• Medical clearance such as TB test, physical exam, or drug screening may be required.
• Valid driver's license and MVR check if accepting driving shifts.
• Additional documentation may be required based on state law or client contract.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs): companionship, meal prep, mobility support, bathing/grooming/dressing, non-clinical medication reminders, and light housekeeping.
• Complete and document all care tasks accurately in the CareLinx mobile app during each shift.
• Monitor and report changes in a client’s condition or self-care abilities to the CareLinx clinical team.
• Submit timesheets on time through the CareLinx app.
• Communicate with your CarePartner regarding any case updates or client changes.
• Ensure patient privacy, dignity, and well-being in a safe and secure environment.
• Maintain client confidentiality at all times.
• Additional shift opportunities (based on client needs): transportation and errand support, hospital discharge escort, telehealth navigation.
