Job summary

CareLinx by Sharecare is a nationwide caregiver registry placing non-clinical in-home caregivers with health plan members and private clients. You control your availability via the app, accepting matches that fit your schedule and goals. This role is a part-time/per-diem, 1099 contractor position in Richmond, VA.

We value compassionate, reliable caregivers who communicate well and maintain client dignity in a safe setting. Training and onboarding support are provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months caregiving experience or relevant education/certification.
• Access to a smartphone capable of running the CareLinx app.
• Ability to communicate in English; bilingual encouraged.
• Reliable transportation to client homes.
• Must pass a background check.
• Program-specific training may apply prior to shifts.
• Medical clearance such as TB test or physical exam may be required.
• Valid driver's license and MVR check if driving shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs): companionship, meal prep, mobility support, bathing/grooming/dressing, medication reminders (non-clinical), and light housekeeping.
• Complete and document all care tasks accurately in the CareLinx mobile app during each shift.
• Monitor and report changes in a client’s condition to the CareLinx clinical team.
• Submit timesheets on time through the CareLinx app.
• Communicate with your CarePartner regarding case updates or client changes.
• Ensure patient privacy, dignity, and well-being in a safe environment.
• Maintain client confidentiality at all times.
• Additional shift opportunities (transportation, discharge escort, telehealth navigation) as needed.
