Job summary

Altra Homecare Group is seeking compassionate In-Home Caregivers to provide Personal Care Assistant, Home Health Aide, CNA or general in-home care services. You will support clients in their homes with daily activities, safety, and companionship.

Ideal candidates are independent and can handle medication reminders, basic meals, light housekeeping, and documentation per care plans. Prior experience is helpful but not required; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Possess a valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance.
• Ability to read, follow written instructions, and document care provided.
• Comply with training requirements as per State and Federal laws.

Responsibilities

• Assist with client laundry as needed.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Ensure client safety.
• Report significant changes to supervisor.
• Prepare light meals and assist with feeding when required.
• Monitor and record client temperature.
• Assist client with ambulation.
• Conduct range of motion exercises and simple activities.
• Maintain documentation and adhere to care protocols.
• Follow privacy policies and infection control guidelines.
• Offer bathing assistance.
• Perform light housekeeping.
• Provide companion services, including letter-writing and reading.
