Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide direct rehab care in speech therapy on an as-needed basis. The role requires MS/MA in Speech-Language Pathology, state licensure, and ASHA CCCs or CFY eligibility.

CPR is required at hire or during orientation, with ongoing certification maintained. Responsibilities include participating in community health matters, collaborating with patients and families, and ensuring compliance with post-acute care

Qualifications

• MS or MA in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• ASHA CCCs OR eligible for 9 month CFY to earn CCCs and maintain credentialing.
• Active state license and maintain good standing.
• 1 year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply.
• CPR certification at hire or during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Participates in community health matters/projects as appropriate.
• Liaisons with patients, families, and support departments to plan patient needs.
• Demonstrate good body mechanics and independent decision making when needed.
• Understand and follow applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and comply with company policies.
