Seaton Senior Living in New Jersey seeks a Care/Medication Technician to provide hands-on care and support in a home-like environment for residents. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor health needs, and ensure safety and comfort under the supervision of licensed staff.

The role emphasizes compassionate patient care, accurate medication documentation, and collaboration with the health care team to maintain residents' wellbeing and dignity in a community setting.

Formación

• NJ certified Medication Technician certification is required.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Care for designated residents during the shift and monitor their well-being.
• Observe and document symptoms or changes in residents' conditions.
• Respond to call bells promptly and notify supervisor of increased needs.
• Assist with continence management and meal service.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and care areas.
• Engage residents in activities and life skills.
• Greet visitors and coordinate with family and staff.
• Perform resident laundry as assigned.
• Review service plans and assist with medications per the Six Rights.
• Document medication administration and refusals.
• Restock medication carts and maintain med room.
• Count narcotics with nurse per shift and handle documentation.
