Job summary

Seaton Ocean Grove in New Jersey is seeking a Care Giver/Med Tech to join our team. The role provides hands-on care and emotional support to residents while maintaining a safe, home-like environment.

Responsibilities include monitoring residents, assisting with daily living activities, administering medications under the Six Rights framework, documenting changes, and communicating with supervisors. Prior CNA certification and experience with seniors preferred.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse’s Aid certification preferred.
• High School diploma/GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• CPR Certification preferred.
• First Aid Certification preferred.
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for a designated group of residents during the shift and monitor their well‑being.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ condition to supervisors or HC Coordinator.
• Respond promptly to security system and resident call bells.
• Assist with continence management and proper disposal of products.
• Serve and collect food trays and report refusals or loss of appetite.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and work areas.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation).
• Assist with resident laundry as assigned.
