Job summary

ScribeAmerica is hiring on-site Medical Scribes in California to work closely with physicians, documenting patient visits in real time and handling history, exams, and treatments using EHR systems.

We offer flexible full-time and part-time schedules with paid training through Scribe University and real clinical exposure. 18+ and a high school diploma are required; training and mentorship are provided to help you grow in healthcare.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 18+ and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Typing speed of 40+ WPM and fluent English.
• Flexible schedule and strong listening/communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with doctors during patient visits to document everything.
• Record patient history, exams, and treatments.
• Use electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Review and track lab and test results.
• Follow HIPAA and other rules to keep records secure.
• Keep patient charts up to date and accurate.
• Send and organize documents for doctor review.
• Support the healthcare team with lab tracking and follow-ups.
