Community Health Resources seeks a Forensic Nurse Specialist - LPN to support Medication Assisted Treatment for inmates at DOC Robinson Enfield, CT. This per diem role provides MAT within correctional facilities and requires collaboration with OTP and safety staff.

The responsibilities include evaluating patient response, dosing as ordered, charting in the EHR, and coordinating admissions and discharges with the medical team.

Qualifikationen

• Nursing duties tailored to LPN requirements.
• Experience in opioid treatment programs preferred.
• License practical nurse required for full-time positions; RN license acceptable for per diem.Desired background in corrections settings is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Evaluate patient response to treatment; monitor withdrawal symptoms and vital signs.
• Prepare medication doses as ordered by physician; provide FDA-approved MAT medications.
• Input data into the electronic health record and related software.
• Deliver care within Department of Correction facilities; coordinate admissions/discharges.
• Monitor toxicology, document results, and prepare lab results.
