Job summary

Compassus is seeking a Hospice On-Call Registered Nurse (RN) to provide after-hours and weekend hospice care. The role focuses on keeping patients comfortable, supporting families, and empowering caregivers with essential care guidance.

Ideal candidates hold an RN license in the work state, with two years of RN experience (hospice preferred), CPR/BLS, and a valid driver’s license. Flexibility to cover after-hours shifts is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state you work.
• Two years of experience as a registered nurse, hospice experience preferred.
• Current CPR and BCLS certification.
• Current driver’s license.

• Provide hospice patient care after-hours and weekend, as needs arise for our patients.
• Enable patients to spend quality time with their loved ones and doing the activities they enjoy.
• Build trusting compassionate relationships with your patients and their families.
• Empower caregivers by educating them on care for their loved one.
• Help the patient and family maintain their maximum level of comfort and coping for after-hours emergency support.
