Compassus in the United States seeks an Hospice On-Call Registered Nurse to provide patient care after-hours and on weekends as needs arise. You will help patients and families maintain comfort and quality of life while empowering caregivers through education.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state you work.
• Two years of experience as a registered nurse, hospice experience preferred.
• Current CPR and BCLS certifications and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospice patient care after-hours and on weekends as needs arise.
• Build trusting, compassionate relationships with patients and families.
• Educate caregivers on care for their loved ones.
• Help patients and families maintain maximum comfort and coping during after-hours emergencies.
