Qualifications

• Current OTA licensure in state of practice.
• Valid driver's license and access to dependable vehicle or public transportation.
• Certified and in good standing with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
• CPR certification preferred or to be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work independently.
• Good written and verbal communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to home health patients under the supervision of an OT.
• Follow state laws and the Plan of Care.
• Observe, document, and report patient responses to treatment.
• Educate patient, family, and care team on therapy techniques.
• Provide care in diverse home environments with respect to all individuals.
