Job summary

Optum CAREtenders, part of the LHC Group and UnitedHealth Group family, is seeking an Occupational Therapist for Home Health. You will assess and evaluate patient needs related to daily living activities, fine motor skills, and home safety, and coordinate with the healthcare team.

The role requires active OT licensure, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work in patients’ homes with diverse backgrounds. Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapy licensure in the state of practice.
• Current driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
• Preferred CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Provides OT services within state scope of practice and care plan.
• Evaluates functional status and CMS-required documentation.
• Observes, records, and reports patient response to treatment.
• Conducts functional assessments using standard tests.
• Functioning in diverse home environments and with varied patient needs.

Skills
