Job summary

UEW Health in Paducah, KY is seeking a Home Health Aide as a 1099 Independent Contractor. 12 Hour Shifts Days/Nights with flexible scheduling allow you to design your own hours while delivering routine healthcare services in clients' homes.

You will follow care plans, assist with personal hygiene and meals, support mobility, and perform light housekeeping. You’ll report changes to the RN Case Manager and HHA Coordinator, ensuring safe, compassionate care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of state-mandated training hours, if applicable.
• Basic knowledge of computer and internet-based applications for charting.
• Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills.
• Compassionate and professional demeanor, with safe working knowledge of client-based equipment.
• Must pass a criminal background check and provide evidence of health status that does not pose a risk to clients or other caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Follow care plans to provide safe and competent care.
• Assist with personal hygiene and meal preparation.
• Help with mobility.
• Perform routine housekeeping tasks.
• Monitor and report changes in clients’ conditions to the RN Case Manager and HHA Coordinator.
