Job summary

Uewhealth is seeking a Home Health Aide as a 1099 Independent Contractor to provide in-home routine health services. You’ll design your own schedule while delivering care per client plans, with flexibility to fit both your and clients’ needs.

You will follow care plans, assist with hygiene and meals, aid mobility, and perform light housekeeping. Strong problem-solving, compassion, and professional conduct are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of state-mandated training hours, if applicable.
• Basic knowledge of computer and internet-based applications for charting.
• Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills.
• Compassionate and professional demeanor, with safe working knowledge of client-based equipment.
• Must pass a criminal background check and provide evidence of health status that does not pose a risk to clients or other caregivers.

Responsibilities

• You will follow care plans to provide safe and competent care, assist with personal hygiene and meal preparation, help with mobility, and perform routine housekeeping tasks.
• Additionally, you will monitor and report any changes in clients’ conditions or home situations to the RN Case Manager and HHA Coordinator.
