Job summary

Addus HomeCare in Hobbs, NM is urgently hiring Flex Home Care Aides (HCAs) to support seniors and people with disabilities in their homes. This on-site role requires assisting with daily tasks, following care plans, and providing compassionate, reliable care on a 5-day-per-week schedule with 24-hour on-call shifts.

Minimum 18 years old and able to pass a background check. Must have reliable transportation; if driving, a valid license and proof of insurance are required.

Qualifications

• Experience providing personal care (bathing, dressing)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be 18 years or older and able to pass a background check
• Reliable transportation with valid driver's license and insurance

Responsibilities

• Call into the office each morning for assignment
• Follow care plans and report completed tasks
• Assist with personal care needs (bathing, dressing)
• Provide or assist with meal preparation, housekeeping and laundry
• Transport client to appointments and run errands
• Assist with self-administration of medications
• Observe and report changes in client condition
