Job summary

MedScope in Monroe, LA seeks field technicians/installers for 1099 independent contractor roles. You will coordinate client appointments, perform in-home installation and testing of emergency response equipment, and educate clients and caregivers on device usage.

Travel to member homes is required, with safety and regulatory compliance emphasized. Candidates should own a vehicle, have a valid license/insurance, and be able to complete background checks.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must own a vehicle and provide driver's license, registration and auto insurance.
• Willing to complete background checks and training.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work independently and meet SLA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate appointment scheduling directly with clients.
• Delivery, initial setup and testing of personal emergency response equipment in clients' homes.
• Educate clients/caregivers on device usage, features and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installation.
• Maintain records of installations and service calls using company software.
• Obtain signatures via Docusign and adhere to safety/regulatory requirements.
