Job summary

OneWell Health Care seeks a dedicated Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Meriden, CT to provide community-based and residential support for individuals with IDD/Autism. The DSP will assist with daily living activities, monitor health and participate in community inclusion initiatives.

Role requires adherence to ISPs and BSPs, documentation accuracy, and transportation support. Open, flexible scheduling with local travel within Connecticut.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required and minimum age 18.
• Experience with IDD or behavioral support is preferred.
• Must be able to use electronic documentation systems and follow ISPs/BSPs.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centered support with ADLs and community participation.
• Administer medication (as certified) and monitor health and safety.
• Maintain accurate documentation and complete reports timely.
• Assist with transportation and attend trainings/meetings.
