Job summary

ASG Home Care in New Jersey is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities across the state. You will work one-on-one, providing hands-on support to promote independence and daily living success.

You will document services, communicate with the care team, and help clients pursue ISP-driven goals in both home and community settings. Flexible hours and local cases offer steady work within a DDD-focused team.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver\'s license and reliable transportation preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Caregiving, DSP, or human services experience preferred but not required.
• Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to make a difference.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation.
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client\'s ISP.
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team.
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support.
