Job summary

ASG Home Care in New Jersey seeks Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in homes and community settings. You will provide one-on-one support following each person’s ISP and promote independence, participation, and daily living success.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, documenting services, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and care teams. Flexible hours and local NJ cases are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Prior caregiving, DSP, or human services experience preferred but not required.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to make a difference.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation.
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP.
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team.
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support.
