Job summary

ASG Home Care in New Jersey seeks Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in homes and community settings across the state. You will work one-on-one following each person’s ISP to promote independence and daily living skills.

The role offers flexible hours and a salary of $18–$24 per hour, with local cases and a supportive team designed to help you succeed as you grow within a DDD-focused agency.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates empathy and compassion in care scenarios.
• Shows reliability and consistent attendance.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to follow care plans and ISP directions.
• Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid certification if not already certified.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one home and community-based support.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care and transportation.
• Encourage independence and participation in community activities per ISP.
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team.
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with individuals supported.
