Job summary

ASG Home Care is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities across New Jersey. DSPs provide one-on-one, person-centered care under each client’s ISP, promoting independence and community involvement.

Position offers flexible hours and local NJ cases with a supportive team. Relevant certifications and a driver’s license are preferred, with growth opportunities within a DDD-focused agency.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation.
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client’s ISP.
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team.
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support.
