Job summary

ASG Home Care is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities across New Jersey. The DSP will work one-to-one, following each person's ISP, to promote independence and daily living skills.

We offer flexible hours, consistent local cases, and a supportive team. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred, with on‑the‑job training and growth opportunities within a DDD-focused agency.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
Prior caregiving or human services experience preferred but not required.
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain on hire).

Responsibilities

Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation.
Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP.
Document services accurately and communicate with the care team.
Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support.
