YAI in Westchester is seeking Per Diem/Floater Direct Support Professionals to help adults with I/DD live independently and engage in their communities. The role offers flexible scheduling, on‑call shifts, and opportunities to develop professional skills while making a meaningful difference daily.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to meet physical demands of the position as described in the posting.
• Excellent communication and empathy with individuals supported.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts and adapt to changing needs.
• Experience supporting people with I/DD preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Support independence and community engagement for individuals.
• Maintain safety and supervise individuals at all times.
• Document observations and communicate with the care team.
