Job summary

Lowe's is hiring a Customer Service Associate in the United States. This role focuses on welcoming customers, helping them find products, and delivering friendly service likely in a part-time schedule across various departments.

You will assist with locating items, stocking, processing orders, and maintaining an organized store environment, while supporting customers at checkout and across departments.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer for inputting, accessing, or outputting information.
• 6 months experience using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets.
• Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand for long periods and perform duties as needed.
• Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or over 25 lbs with or without an accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Restock shelves by identifying empty areas and replenishing supplies.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise on time.
• Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store to improve service.
• Prepare merchandise in your department per customer needs (e.g., tint/mix paint, cut pipe, cut wood).
• Guide customers through shopping or at checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
