Job summary

UnitedHealth Group's Access Personal Care Services is seeking a Per Diem Personal Care Assistant I or II to provide environmental, nutritional and personal care support so clients can remain safely in their own homes.

Responsibilities include helping with activities of daily living, transportation to appointments, meal preparation and medication reminders, while documenting care activities and reporting changes to the Branch Manager. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered where eligible.

Qualifications

• Experience providing in-home care and assisting with activities of daily living.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to work flexible hours to meet client needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, denture & oral care).
• Support meal preparation and ensure clients meet dietary needs; provide nutrition-related assistance.
• Record and report observations; remind about medications; assist with mobility and transfers as needed.
