Job summary

UnitedHealth Group seeks Per Diem Personal Care Assistant I or II to provide environmental, nutritional, and personal care services in clients’ homes. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, meals, and transportation support, while maintaining safety and documenting observations.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and completion of a home health aide program or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• Must have current driver’s license and vehicle insurance, or access to reliable transportation.
• Must have completed a home health aide training program or equivalent exam, or one full year of home care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide environmental, nutritional and personal care support to help clients remain at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, denture care, dressing, etc.).
• Perform or assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
• Record vital signs and report observations to supervisor.
• Support client during appointments and errands; ensure a safe home environment.
