Job summary

Navy Region Southeast Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) is seeking FLEXIBLE CYP Assistants to engage and care for children and youth in DoD CYP settings at a Corpus Christi location. Assistants help develop social skills, healthy habits, and readiness, while supporting staff with curriculum, supervision, and parent communication.

The role emphasizes safety, positive guidance, and teamwork, with opportunities for progression through CY levels and compliance with DoD standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with children, youth, and adults.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement activities to meet physical, social, emotional, and cognitive needs.
• Supervise participants on indoor and outdoor activities and field trips.
• Communicate with parents and staff about program activities and progress.
• Assist in maintaining DoD certification and accreditation requirements.
• Ensure safety and health guidelines are followed in all activities.
