Job summary

Insomnia Cookies is hiring Cookie Crew for a new downtown Raleigh location on Fayetteville Street. As a team member you will greet customers, take orders, bake cookies, manage packaging, handle payments, and maintain the bakery.

You will work in a friendly, fast-paced environment with opportunities for growth. Flexible part-time schedules, daily pay, vacation and sick time, and employee discounts are part of the benefits.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience in a customer-service focused role (preferred).
• Personable, genuine, outgoing demeanor.
• Customer-service focus and willingness to exceed guest expectations.
• Great communication, organizational, and math skills.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lb.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests entering the store and take orders according to procedure.
• Help customers understand menu items and answer questions.
• Repeat orders for accuracy and provide a warm experience in person and over the phone.
• Bake cookies to perfection and serve ice cream.
• Package and deliver orders quickly and correctly.
• Handle cash and payments accurately with no shortages or overages.
• Clean, sanitize, and maintain the bakery.
