Job summary

The YMCA of Greater Kansas City is seeking a Club Substitute to support after-school activities in the Shawnee, KS area. You will help with homework, supervise activities, and ensure a safe, fun environment for children.

Flexible morning/afternoon shifts and ongoing training are offered. Starting pay is $15.50 per hour and includes a free YMCA membership. Join a supportive team that values children and community impact.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18; KS requires high school diploma or GED.
• Experience with school-age children is a plus.
• Ability to work with people of different backgrounds and engage children in activities.

Responsibilities

• Keep kids safe, engaged, and having a great time.
• Help with homework, games, crafts, sports, and snack time.
• Build positive relationships with kids, families, and co-workers.
• Follow YMCA safety and child protection procedures at all times.

• Respond to sub requests promptly and pick up shifts regularly.
