Our Child Therapy in Virginia seeks a passionate Behavior Technician to deliver Applied Behavior Analysis services to children and families and to perform data collection. The role emphasizes collaboration with the BCBA and Clinical Director to implement treatment plans and educate parents.

The position is part-time (20 hours) with a Monday–Friday schedule in Yorktown, VA, offering on-site client-home settings and potential professional growth within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with children and strong people skills.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to lift 30 lbs regularly.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Experience with Autism Spectrum Disorders preferred (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Work effectively with children and families in ABA sessions.
• Collaborate with BCBA and Clinical Director.
• Conduct data collection and maintain session reports.
• Implement behavior-based treatment plans.
• Educate parents on classroom support techniques.
• Ensure safety and quality care for clients.
• Maintain training materials and supplies.
• Advocate for children and families, facilitating referrals.
