Appalachian Community Services in western North Carolina seeks a full-time Qualified Professional-Mobile Crisis Counselor to support access to care and emergency services across locations and populations.

You will perform crisis assessments, collaborate with EMS, serve individuals of all ages, and provide 24/7 mobile crisis management to connect people with the right care and keep them safe.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services or related field.
• 1 year of crisis management experience in 24/7 emergency settings.
• Experience collaborating with EMS or community partners preferred.

Responsabilités

• Respond to mental health crisis calls in the community.
• Collaborate with EMS and other providers to support individuals in crisis.
• Connect individuals to appropriate care and follow-up services.
• Complete crisis assessments and provide immediate support.
• Deliver mobile crisis management services 24/7.
