Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 2 years post-degree experience in mental health or substance use services.
• Minimum of one year’s crisis management experience in urgent settings; 20 hours crisis intervention training in first 90 days.
• Must meet Qualified Professional status as defined in 10A NCAC 27G .0104 with documented competencies.
• Experience with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders preferred.
• Training in peer support or trauma-informed care preferred.

Aufgaben

• Respond in-person to crisis calls with triage, de-escalation, and stabilization.
• Assist crisis assessments using NC-SNAP or ASAM Criteria under LP direction.
• Implement PCP interventions such as coping skills training and safety planning.
• Collaborate with LP to develop/update PCPs addressing crisis goals.
• Supervise Associate Professionals and Paraprofessionals per supervision plan.
