Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. in Tualatin, OR is seeking a Corporate Security professional for a full-time role at $22.50 per hour. The position involves monitoring premises, access control, and patrolling multiple locations with emphasis on safety and customer service.

The ideal candidate is energetic, reliable, self-motivated, and proficient with Microsoft Office and smartphones for Vision devices. Prior security or military experience is a plus and the job offers shift flexibility.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
• Must have driver certification.
• Able to work independently and remain calm under pressure.
• Security, law enforcement, or military experience a plus.
• Willing to participate in pre-employment screening (drug screen and background).

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicular and foot patrols of assigned sites.
• Identify and report safety issues or suspicious activity.
• Provide customer service to employees and guests.
• Assist with post orders and rounds as required.
• Operate security devices and card readers.
• Respond to emergencies following directives from Control Room.

Corporate Security - Full Time

Primary Location: Tualatin, OR

Wage: $22.50/HR

Our Corporate Security helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order whileenforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

The best candidates for this position will be energetic, reliable, self-motivated, have good customer service skills, computer skills, and some knowledge of Microsoft Suite and Smart-Phones (for using a Vision Device).

The Flex position is ideal for candidates that are looking for career advancement.

Schedules / Shifts:

1. Thurs - Sun: 2300 - 0700 / 0700 - 1500
2. 0700 - 1500 / 1500 - 2300
3. 1500 - 2300 / 2300 - 0700

(The Flex Officer will not be required to work both shifts at the same time but must be available to work within the parameters of their selected availability.For example, some weeks they will working days on Mon & Tues and swings on Wed & Thurs).

What You Can Expect:

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to theclient’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conducts vehicular and foot patrols of the interior / exterior of 10 - 12 buildings two times per one eight-hour shift - (may patrol areas where several different types of chemicals may be stored).
• Performs audits of security devices, door locks, and card readers on a weekly basis.
• Provide assistance during emergency situations - (Officer must follow all directives given to them by Control Room Officers).
• May be trained as a Control Room Officers.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Driver Certification required.
• Must be comfortable with long periods of standing and / or walking.
