Job summary

Titan Security Group is seeking a Flex & Events Security Officer for the Exhibition Space in Downtown Chicago. You will be on the front lines, ensuring safety and a welcoming guest experience in a high-visibility public venue.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of security or public-facing work, a GED or high school diploma, and the ability to work all shifts. The role emphasizes patrols, access control, incident reporting, and professional conduct to protect guests and property.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in a fast-paced, public-facing environment.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.
• Willingness to work all shifts and locations within the venue.

Responsibilities

• Be attentive, approachable and capable of enforcing policies while delivering excellent customer service to guests, staff, and vendors.
• Maintain clear, accurate administrative logs at front desk pertaining to people or property including packages.
• Control access for tenants, visitors or vendors as required.
• Enforce museum rules and policies in a professional, customer-service-oriented manner.
• Monitor security guard cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment.
• Respond to incidents, including emergencies at the property, and record data on incidents for Titan Security management.
• Provide a visible security presence throughout the museum.
• Rotate between assigned posts as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to work all shifts.
• 1 year of security, customer service, or public-facing experience preferred
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Able to acquire and maintain a valid Illinois Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC), including state accredited training requirements
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Willingness to work all posts and flexible schedules
• Experience in museums, hospitals, retail centers, or high-traffic public venues
• Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs., completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather

Preferred Qualifications

• Bi-lingual considered a plus.
• Evening, overnight, and weekend availability required
