Titan Security Group seeks a dedicated Security Officer for our Chicago locations. You will deliver excellent customer service, manage access, observe surveillance, and conduct patrols to keep properties safe.

Responsibilities include logging incidents, assisting visitors, and coordinating with property management. Evening, overnight, and weekend shifts are required, with opportunities for growth within Titan Security Group.

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Experience as door staff, receptionist, customer service, clerical, hotel or restaurant preferred.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities of Security Officers include, but are not limited to:

• Provide excellent Customer Service to all parties encountered while on duty, including assisting with directions and general business information
• Maintain clear, accurate administrative logs at front desk pertaining to people or property including packages.
• Control access for tenants, visitors or vendors as required
• Monitor security guard cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment
• Respond to incidents, including emergencies at the property, and record data on incidents for building and Titan Security management
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications of Security Officers:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have experience as a door staff professional or in a receptionist, customer service, clerical, hotel or restaurant position.
• Must be comfortable around dogs, cats, and other pets/animals
• Evening, overnight, and weekend availability required
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Must be available for rotating shifts, weekend coverage, overlapping shifts
• Able to acquire and maintain a valid Illinois Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC), including state accredited training requirements
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather

Preferred Qualifications of Security Officers: Bi-lingual considered a plus.
