Job summary

Titan Security Group is seeking a front desk security professional in the Chicago area. You will provide customer service, manage access for tenants and visitors, and monitor security systems to maintain a safe environment on-site.

The role requires a high school diploma, 18+ years of age, English proficiency, and the ability to pass background checks and a drug screen. Evening and weekend shifts may be required, with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old and have experience as a door staff, receptionist, customer service, clerical, hotel or restaurant position.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Able to obtain and maintain a valid Illinois PERC and complete state training requirements.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must be able to meet physical requirements including lifting 50+ lbs, patrols, and walking stairs.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service at the front desk and assist with directions and information.
• Maintain accurate administrative logs at front desk for people or property including packages.
• Control access for tenants, visitors or vendors as required.
• Monitor security cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and ensure safety.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies, and record data for property and Titan Security management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent Customer Service to all parties encountered while on duty, including assisting with directions and general business information
• Maintain clear, accurate administrative logs at front desk pertaining to people or property including packages.
• Control access for tenants, visitors or vendors as required
• Monitor security guard cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment
• Respond to incidents, including emergencies at the property, and record data on incidents for building and Titan Security management
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have experience as a door staff professional or in a receptionist, customer service, clerical, hotel or restaurant position.
• Must be comfortable around dogs, cats, and other pets/animals
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Able to acquire and maintain a valid Illinois Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC), including state accredited training requirements
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather

Preferred Qualifications

• Bi-lingual considered a plus.
• Evening, overnight, and weekend availability required
