Job summary

Titan Security Group is hiring Security Officers in Illinois to provide excellent customer service and front desk support. You will control access, monitor cameras, and patrol properties to deter theft and maintain safety. The role requires lifting, walking stairs, and working in various weather conditions.

Candidates should have a High School diploma or GED, be 18+, pass drug tests and background checks, and be fluent in English. Evening or weekend shifts may be available.

Qualifications

• Must have experience as a door staff professional or in a receptionist, customer service, clerical, hotel or restaurant position.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to obtain PERC.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service at the front desk and assist with directions.
• Maintain front desk logs for people and property including packages.
• Control access for tenants, visitors or vendors.
• Monitor security cameras and conduct patrols to prevent theft and ensure safety.
• Respond to incidents and record data for property management.

Responsibilities

of Security Officers include, but are not limited to:

• Provide excellent Customer Service to all parties encountered while on duty, including assisting with directions and general business information
• Maintain clear, accurate administrative logs at front desk pertaining to people or property including packages.
• Control access for tenants, visitors or vendors as required
• Monitor security guard cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment
• Respond to incidents, including emergencies at the property, and record data on incidents for building and Titan Security management
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have experience as a door staff professional or in a receptionist, customer service, clerical, hotel or restaurant position.
• Must be comfortable around dogs, cats, and other pets/animals
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Able to acquire and maintain a valid Illinois Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC), including state accredited training requirements
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather

Preferred Qualifications

of Security Officers:

• Bi-lingual considered a plus.
• Evening, overnight, and weekend availability required.
