Job summary

Arvato in Fargo, ND is seeking a Transport Planner to plan, schedule, and dispatch shipments for the company-owned fleet. You will own daily routes, assign drivers, confirm deliveries, and track performance to meet service levels.

Collaborate with warehouse outbound teams, fleet maintenance, and Client Services to keep loads on time, optimize routes, and document shipments. DOT rules and SAP routing knowledge are a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience with TMS or WMS and transportation scheduling.
• Knowledge of DOT/FMCSA hours-of-service rules.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to multitask and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule daily outbound shipments and routes for company-owned fleet.
• Build daily dispatch schedules and assign drivers and vehicles.
• Coordinate with warehouse outbound teams to ensure timely departures.
• Track shipments, monitor performance, and re-route as needed.
• Prepare shipping documents and arrange third-party coverage when needed.
• Report on KPIs such as on-time delivery and fleet utilization.
