Job summary

ChampionX in Williston, ND is seeking a Dispatch/Operations Coordinator to assign routes for delivery teams, plan multi-day routes, and resolve issues to meet customer requirements. The role requires organizational skills, basic math, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; SAP knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Secondary diploma or equivalent plus 1–3 years of experience.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Basic math proficiency.
• Proficient in email and Microsoft Office.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Polite and professional interaction with customers and coworkers.
• Ability to present information clearly to managers, clients, and customers.
• Follow safety policies and promote safe behavior; address unsafe conditions proactively.
• Ability to work >40 hours per week as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assign daily routes for operation delivery team.
• Plan daily routes for 3–5 days in advance to optimize efficiency.
• Prioritize and resolve issues on daily routes to meet customer requirements.
• Coordinate emergency and short lead time requests; adjust routes as needed.
• Communicate route issues to sales counterparts.
• Collaborate with the digital team to improve routes and apps used.
• Adapt to changing customer priorities and business dynamics.
• Review schedules for deviations and prevent future issues.
• Maintain records of proofs of delivery and bill of lading.
• Identify obstacles to routes and report to leadership.
• Improve dispatch processes and systems in collaboration with management.
• Coordinate swift dispatch during emergencies to minimize downtime.
