Job summary

Walmart in Laurens, SC seeks a driver training and development professional to lead Trainer-led programs and virtual classrooms. The role delivers expert guidance, mentors Driver Trainees, and collaborates with Fleet Development leadership to ensure quality training content across regional centers.

You will implement and monitor training initiatives, engage with stakeholders, and help drive continuous improvement while upholding Walmart values and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Current interstate (Class A) CDL with Hazmat endorsement or will obtain within 120 calendar days of hire.
• 3 years' experience in a full-time Class A tractor/trailer driving position in the previous 7 years.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
• No serious traffic violations in the last 3 years.
• No convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI, or reckless driving within the last 10 years.
• No preventable DOT-recordable accidents in the last 10 years.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and improve action plans by providing expert guidance to others.
• Coach and facilitate Driver Trainee training with senior leaders.
• Support implementation of business solutions by building relationships with key stakeholders and monitoring progress.
• Ensure compliance with One Best Way and company policies across training centers.
• Lead training audits and validate content accuracy with the Learning Content Development team.
