Job summary

Walmart in Spring Valley, IL is seeking a Driver Training professional to design, deliver, and continuously improve driver trainee programs. You will coach instructors, conduct audits, and ensure One Best Way standards across regional training centers.

You will lead classroom and virtual training initiatives, collaborate with Fleet Development leadership, and drive adoption of new training tools and methods while upholding Walmart’s values and customer-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement or eligibility within 120 days of hire.
• 3 years’ experience in a full-time Class A tractor/trailer driving position in the previous 7 years.
• No major violations (DUI/DWI/OUI) in the last 10 years; no preventable DOT accidents in last 3–10 years.

Responsibilities

• Provides expert guidance on driver training and best practices; delivers and coaches Driver Trainee programs.
• Facilitates training content in various formats (in-class, virtual) with regional teams.
• Builds partnerships with stakeholders to implement training solutions and improve performance.
• Conducts audits to ensure One Best Way compliance across Fleet Development centers.
• Delivers training leveraging multiple modalities and supports change initiatives.
